Agricultural Workforce Institute (AWI) was formally established in 2024 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization for educational and scientific purposes.
Purpose
To develop and deliver cutting-edge educational programs that equip the agricultural workforce with the latest knowledge, skills, and technologies to support the growth of sustainable food systems for a rising global human and animal-companion populations.
Mision
To promote and enhance science-based agricultural practices to optimize production processes with practical solutions that strengthen sustainable food systems and empower rural communities while addressing automation, labor shortages, and environmental stewardship.
